Academician of Royal Academy of Sciences, UK Appointed as ECUST Honorary Professor
 

    Professor Andrew I. Cooper, Director of the Materials Innovation Workshop of the University of Liverpool, UK, and Academician of the Royal Academy of Sciences, was appointed as honorary professor of ECUST on October 24, 2017. The appointment ceremony, presided over by Mr. Li Yongsheng, Director of the International Cooperation Office, was attended by Mr. Liu Changsheng, Vice President of ECUST, Professor Long Yitao, Dean of School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering. The ceremony started with Professor Long Yitao’s introduction to the academic achievements of Professor Andrew I. Cooper, and then followed by President Liu Changsheng’ announcement of the Letter of Appointment on behalf of ECUST. Professor Andrew I. Cooper was awarded the Letter of Appointment as Honorary Professor of ECUST and was helped with an ECUST school badge. At the ceremony, Professor Long Yitao, Dean of School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, and Professor Andrew I. Cooper signed the strategic cooperation agreement between ECUST Joint Laboratory of Controllable Structure Molecular Engineering and the Material Innovation Workshop of the University of Liverpool, UK.
