The CASE (Catalysis and Sensing for our Environment) joint laboratory inauguration ceremony was held in ECUST on April 6^th , 2010. The CASE joint laboratory was established by East China University of Science and Technology together with the University of Bath and the University of Birmingham. During the ceremony, professor Tony David James was appointed Visiting Professor of ECUST. Professor Qian Xuhong—President of ECUST, Professor Tian He – dean of School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, and Professor Xu Yufang— vice dean of School of Pharmacy, attended the inauguration and the appointment ceremony, which was hosted by Professor Jiao Jiajun, director of International Affairs Office.
