Achievements:
    As one of the leaders in the field of composite materials technology, engaged in basic research and applied development; made a significant contribution to our country in the development of resin matrixes used for composing high-temperature-resisting insulation materials, corrosion protection materials, heat-corrosion-resisting materials and wave-transmitted materials; being the founder of national defence materials research project in the University. Recently, engage in the research of resin matrix for use in information technology materials development.

Awards:

    Won the title National Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contribution to the country. Won the title the model worker of Shanghai in 1983.Gained 16 prizes on Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, including a first prize, 4 second prizes and 4 third prizes. Winner of a prize on National Science and Technology Progress Award, and several prizes of Science and Technology Achievement in ministrial level. Four books and some one hundred academic papers have been published
