Yu Jianguo
    Professor, was born in Guangdong province in June 1960. Vice president of ECUST, dean of the school of postgraduate of ECUST. In 1982, he graduated from department of chemical engineering of East China Institute of Chemical Technology; then he alternatively received the Master's Degree and Doctor's Degree, he used to assume the office of section chief of science and technology department, dean of  school of resource and environment. He also held a concurrent post in the society, such as director of  Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China, vice-chairman of Shanghai Society of Chemistry and Chemical Industry, standing director of Shanghai Society for Environmental Science.

Main teaching and scientific achievements
    In recent years, professor Yu has mainly undertaken the research of saline resource  and environment domain, successively took on the various technological projects from Chinese government. Apart form these, he won the financial support of several program such as Shanghai ShuGuang Scholar, ministry of education cross-century talents and the academic leader of Shanghai best subject.  He won the first prize of Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress Prize, the first prize of Shanghai production, teaching and research combination project, and honored the excellent young teacher of Shanghai.
