【Resume】 Ma Yulu: Professor.  She was graduated from the Process Equipment Department of East China University of Chemical Technology (now renamed as East China University of Science and Technology, ECUST) in 1982;  then she joined the faculty of her own university upon graduation.  She became a lecturer in 1986, an associate professor in1993, and a professor in 1999.  She stayed at The Ohio State University as a visiting scholar during January 1991 to March 1993.  During July 1997 to July 1998, she worked in Swedish Institute for Fiber and Polymer Research as a visiting scholar. She successively took on the work of the vice director of the Process Equipment Department, the director of the Research Division of Material Behavior in School of Mechanical Engineering, the vice director of the Research Institute of Process Equipment, the vice director of the Division of Science and Technology of ECUST and the director of Personnel Administration Division of ECUST.  In 2000, she was honored The Aid Blueprint to Key Teacher Member of higher learning Institution by National Education Ministry, and was awarded The Excellent Key Teacher Member of National higher learning Institution by National Education Ministry in 2003.  She was a member of the Science and Technology Committee of Shanghai Construction Committee, and also a deputy of the 13th and 14th People’Representative Congress in Xuhui District of Shanghai.  Now, she has been the vice-president of ECUST and  the director of Process Equipment Material & Processing Division in School of Mechanical and Power Engineering.
 
【Major research findings】
   In recent years, she mainly pursued the study of polymer composite processing and the application of non-metallic material in the process machine and equipment.  She has successively presided and accomplished over 30 various projects which include National Natural Science Foundation, Science and Technology Foundation of Shanghai Government, R&D project of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, The key technology in Shanghai industries, etc.  She has published more than 40 academic papers, applied for 4 inventive patent (1 authorized).  As a editor in chief, compiled the textbook of “Subject-based English for Machine Design and Manufacturing and Automation”.  Also contributed to the compiling of “Process Equipment Engineering Handbook”.

Main research orientation includes process equipment, advanced manufacturing method of composite materials and the application of non-metallic material in the process machine and equipment.
