1.    Bioorganic Chemistry of Dyes

 

Prof. Qian’s research in bioorganic chemistry of dyeis about fluorescent sensors and antitumor agents, includes the following aspects:
Fluorescent sensors: Molecular sensor with highly-selectivity for mercuric, cupric, zinc, silver cations, and some anions, derived from naphthalene, naphthalimide, coumarin, BODIPY, and polymer. In addition, fluorescent probe and fluorescent label were also involved in his research.
Antitumor agents: Thio- or Thieno-compounds, Antitumor agents, apoptosis-inducing agents for Bcl-2 protein, topoisomerase inhibitor and photodynamic therapy agent, which were derived fromsulfur- or thia- aromatic heterocycle, carboxamide, naphthalimide, benzo[c,d]indol-2-one, phenazine, acridine, acenaphthalenequinone, amino-acenaphtho[1,2-b]pyrrol-carbonitrile and phthalocyanine
