An introduction of the University Hospital of ECUST

University Hospital of ECUST, previously knownas ECUST Health Department, was found on June 30, 1999 after passing the XuhuiDistrict Health Bureau examination and being approved by Shanghai HealthBureau. The hospital consists of Xuhui Campus Hospital and Fengxian Campus Clinic，The hospital has 30 staff，including 1 chief physician, 2 associateprofessor physicians, 8 attending physician,12 nurses, and 5 medicaltechnicians. The hospital staff and equipment are capable of meeting the needsof  ECUST, including the treatment ofcommon and frequently-occurring diseases,prevention and management ofinfectious diseases ,emergency treatment of public health emergencies,organizationof blood donation, physical examination, vaccination and reimbursement ofmedical expenses for college students.      

Thehospital has prepared an “emergency plan” to cope with medical emergency eventshappening in Fengxian campus. It clearly relates responsibility of specificpersonnel to ensure good care of needy students and teachers there.      

Thehospital also has established sentinel treatment programs with local majorhospitals to take care of those patients requiring medical treatment notavailable at the University Hospital. We will do our best to meet medical needsof all students and teachers. The goal and objective of our job is to workhard, be pragmatic and have love and sympathy.

Xuhui Campus Hospital :8:00to 11:15,13:00 to 16:45,Monday to Friday      

(At noon,weekends and holidays, the school hospital has emergency duty)      

Fengxian CampusClinic: 8:00 to 11:15,12:15 to 16:15,Monday to Friday(At noon or night,weekendsand holidays, the school hospital has emergency duty)
