German Applied Chemistry Published ECUST Research in Efficient Synthesis of Chiral α -alkenyl Amino Acid Derivatives

Recently, Professor Chen Yifeng’s research team published online a research paper entitled “Cobalt-Catalyzed Asymmetric Aza-Nozaki-Hiyama-Kishi (NHK)Reaction of α-Imino Esters with Alkenyl Halides” in German Applied Chemistry, reporting the new progress in the efficient synthesis of chiral α -alkenyl amino acid derivatives by cobalt-catalyzed asymmetric aza-NHK reaction.

The research paper was first authored by Doctoral candidate Xia Tingting of the School of Chemistry and co-corresponding authored by Postdoctoral fellow Wu Xianqing and Professor Chen Yifeng. The research has received guidance from Professor Qu Jingping. The research work has been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Natural Science Foundation, Shanghai Qixing Project, Feringa Nobel Prize Scientists Joint Research Center, Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Education of Materials Biology and Dynamic Chemistry, Shanghai Sailing Plan, Basic Scientific Research Operating Expenses Fund of Central universities, and China Postdoctoral Science Fund.
