The ECUST Choir delegation of 45 students won gold medals in the mixed group (under 25 years old) and folk song group competitions at the 8th Singapore International Chorus Festival from July 28 to August 1, 2024. The competition featured more than 70 choirs from over ten countries and regions, including Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
An important carrier of college students’ aesthetic education, the ECUST Student Choir has been invited to participate in overseas international choral competitions many times since its establishment. It has won gold medals in international choral competitions held in Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Russia, Sweden and other countries, which has become a beautiful “name card” for ECUST’s talent training and has fully showcased the elegant demeanor and aesthetic education achievements of ECUST students.
