JACS Publishes ECUST New Progress on Ketenes Conversion Catalyzed by Mordenite Zeolite

Professor Wang Haifeng’s research team at the Institute of Industrial Catalysis/Computational Chemistry Center, School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, recently published a research paper titled “Ketene Conversion Chemistry within Mordenite Zeolite: Pore-Size Dependent Reaction Mechanism, Product Selectivity and Catalytic Activity” in the Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS), reporting their latest findings on ketene conversion catalyzed by mordenite zeolite.

The paper is first authored by Xiong Danfeng, a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Chemistry and co-corresponding authored by Dr. Lai Zhuangzhuang (postdoctoral researcher) and Professor Wang Haifeng. The work was supported by the State Key Laboratory of Green Chemical Engineering and Industrial Catalysis, the National Key R&D Program, the NSFC, and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities.
