25th Anniversary Celebration Event of ECUST-University of Canberra MBA Program Held in Shanghai

The 25th anniversary celebration of the East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) – University of Canberra MBA program (hereinafter referred to as the “China-Australia MBA Program”) was held in Shanghai on December 7, 2025. Under the theme “Twenty-Five Years of Forging Ahead Together, Gathering Wisdom to Embark on a New Chapter”, the event featured addresses by ECUST President Xuan Fuzhen, University of Canberra Vice-Chancellor and President,  Honorable Professor Bill Shorten, and Australian Embassy in China Minister-Counsellor (Deputy Head of Mission) Daniel Feakes. ECUST Vice President Yan Haifeng presided over the event. Leaders from both universities, faculty representatives, distinguished guests from various sectors, and alumni representatives gathered to reminisce about their cooperative friendship and discuss future development.

At the 25th-anniversary celebration, the program’s development journey and educational achievements were comprehensively reviewed, showcasing the profound accumulation of Sino-Australian cooperation in the field of education. Standing at a new starting point, ECUST and the University of Canberra will continue to join hands, promoting international cooperative education to continuously reach higher levels and cultivate more globally competitive management talents for the economic and social development of the new era.
