ECUST Deputy Party Secretary Gong Yue Leads Delegation to Visit South Korean Universities

Recently, at the invitation of partner institutions, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission Gong Yue led a delegation to visit Korea University and Seoul National University in South Korea. Discussions focused on topics such as joint talent cultivation in cutting-edge fields like law and bioengineering, collaborative scientific research innovation, and faculty and student exchanges, resulting in multiple consensuses.

This visit focused on the practical needs of disciplinary development, striving to transform international high-quality educational resources into new momentum for the university's high-quality development. It laid a solid foundation for promoting the upgrading of discipline construction and enhancing the international competitiveness of talent cultivation. The delegation included Zhong Weimin, Dean of the School of Information Science and Engineering; Zhao Hong, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages; Wang Qiyao, Vice Dean of the School of Biotechnology; Ren Hu, Professor from the School of Law; and Zhang Wen from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange.
