Angewandte Chemie International Edition Publishes ECUST Latest Research Progress on Heterogeneous Catalytic Carbene Reactions
Recently, the research group led by Professor Zhao Jie at the Feringa Nobel Prize Scientist Joint Research Center, School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, ECUST, achieved new progress in the study of heterogeneous metal-catalyzed carbene reactions. The related research article is published in Angewandte Chemie International Edition under the title “Effective Coordination Promoted Carbene N─H Bond Insertion on Heterogeneous Cu Catalyst”.

This work was completed jointly by the research group of Professor Zhao Jie at ECUST and the research group of Professor Niu Zhiqiang at Tsinghua University. The article is co-first authored by doctoral candidate Zhang Ruixue of ECUST and Dr. Sun Mingze of Tsinghua University and is also authored by ECUST master’s candidate Lu Luan. The research receivedguidance from Researcher You Shuli of the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was financially supported by funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Feringa Nobel Prize Scientist Joint Research Center.
